Suicide Prevention • https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org... • http://suicidehotlines.com/ • https://handup.org/ • • As some of you may have already heard, this past week, An Horizon Air employee named Richard Russell hijacked an empty plane at Seattle international airport, did some loops and maneuvers with the aircraft before later crashing it into a nearby island. • If we listen on the air traffic control audio, we can hear Richard discussing with ATC that he was struggling with some type of mental illness. Not explicitly in those words but clearly a man that desperately needed some help with his mental health. Sadly Richard never got the help he needed and it was already too late by the time he got into that airplane. • This video is not to talk about the airplane crash, but rather the issue of mental illness in our society. Just sharing my personal thoughts and experience with it.
