Kamaole Beach Park III Ocean Rhythms hawaii beach maui

Kamaole is one long, mostly uninterrupted strip of sand in front of the towns of Kihei and Wailea, broken up into three beach parks. We chose Park III simply because it was directly across the street from where we were staying, so I didn't have to move the car to get to the beach. It was our last morning on the islands, so we had already packed up our bags in preparation of checkout time and were now lounging on the beach in the morning breeze. • The plan was to go snorkeling, then go back ot the room and shower before checking out. But the winds and waves were just a little too high for that. So we had to settle for napping on sandy beaches all day. Oh darn. • Besides being right in front of the hotels and other amenities, all beaches in this area have great views.
