Wensleydale Railway presents Geoff Holme An Edwardian Lakeland Tour

Based on a tour organised by the Furness Railway in the years leading from the turn of the century until the outbreak of the First World War we break of our holiday in Blackpool and travel round the lakes starting from Blackpool and embarking on the cross bay steamer to Barrow where we catch the train to Lakeside. We travel to Ambleside by steamer and then catch a road coach to Coniston from where we return by rail to Ramsden Dock Station, Barrow where our steamer is waiting to take us back to Fleetwood for Blackpool.
