Scripps News has confirmed that the manhunt for Robert Card, the suspect involved in the recent Maine mass shooting, has ended. Authorities announced that Card was found dead near the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls. Maine Public Safety Commissioner Michael Sauschuck stated that Robert Card is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. • Shelter-in-place orders and hunting restrictions in Lewiston, Lisbon, Bowdoin, and Monmouth have been lifted.
