The species is commonly grown as an ornamental for its fragrant flowers in the fall. The fruit tastes good, rather like gooseberries. • ►Working: • First of all, Get a rootstalk and one cutting of ric rac cactus. Cut the top part of rootstalk. Make a deep cut in the rootstalk. Peel off the ric rac cactus. Put that peeled area into the rootstalk. Use some thread to tightly close that cut. Place in a shady area for one week. After one week you can place it in a sunny location. Water it when soil becomes dry.
