Does the Tasmanian tiger / thylacine still live or exist in our modern day world? In this video my brother and myself went trail riding up around the foothills of the gog range in northern Tasmania. We stopped of at a beautiful spot along a small creek to have a break and see if we could find any lobsters like we did when we were kids. We suddenly stumbled across a jaw bone and at first we were guessing thinking sheep or possum. Within a few metres we came across the other half of the jaw and also the upper part of the skull. When all the bones were joined together we realised this was something far more interesting and our thoughts turned to Tasmanian tiger. We didn't want to damage it riding our bikes home so we left it there until the next morning and came back with the vehicles. We compared it to pictures of thylacine skulls on google and got very excited word got out and within a few hours the news and tv crews had contacted us and our local museum. The following day the skull was taken to our local museum for analysis they told us it was a canine skull but weren't sure what type. Take a look at the images at the end of this video to make your own mind up and leave your comments below we'd love to hear what you think. • FOLLOW UP VIDEO • Results from the analysis of Tasmanian tiger skull Thylacine or Canine? • • Results from the analysis of Tasmania... • JOIN US ON SOCIAL MEDIA • FACEBOOK • / tassie-boys-200141990034771 • INSTAGRAM • username : tassieboys
