This is a fan-made concept trailer for a Laura/X-23 film set within the Marvel Universe. This is unofficial and made purely for fun and to practice with video editing. Logan is not only one of my favourite superhero films, it also has one of my favourite movie trailers of all time. The first trailer with Johnny Cash's Hurt is astounding even if you're not familiar with the X-Men films. Watching it again made me inspired to have a go at making my own trailer with Logan's daughter, Laura aka X-23. I thought it would be interesting to make something with a similar neo-western style. Plus, I've been wanting to do a Marvel project. There were apparently plans for a sequel to Logan focusing on Laura. But, after the Disney acquisition of 21st Century Fox, those plans were halted. I doubt that we'll get a continuation as they'll be looking to integrate the X-Men into the MCU, most likely with a new actor playing Logan (though the announcement of Hugh Jackman's return in Deadpool and Wolverine has proven me wrong). Still, it's fun to imagine, and I think Dafne Keen should have become the next Wolverine. With more Mutants appearing around the world, the chances of Laura meeting new faces with abilities like hers was always high.
