The rest of the videos will be either recipes that you can follow and make and enjoy or information such as fasting health and so on. • Intro video: • 001 Nonno and Rory Introduction t... • -- • Recipe: Lasagna • Italian lasagna is a comfort food, it is popular in most countries. It can be served with or without meat. • — • Ingredients • — • We basically use the recipe on the Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna box, with some modifications. • 9 oz box of Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna • 15 oz container ricotta cheese • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese • 2 eggs • Our Italian Tomato Sauce recipe (YouTube video 042) or • a 26 oz jar of your favorite pasta sauce • 2 tbsps olive oil • 1 lb Beyond Meat crumbles or ground beef, Beyond Meat Sausage or Italian sausage (optional) • — • Directions • — • In a large bowl, beat the eggs to mix. • Add the ricotta cheese, the mozzarella and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese and mix well. • In a skillet, sauté the meat in the olive oil, until almost cooked through, adding salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder. • In a 9”x13” pan, spread enough tomato sauce to lightly cover the bottom. • Place 4 sheets of lasagna overlapping on top of the sauce, then pour 1cup of sauce and 1/3 of the cheese mixture and 1/3 of the meat on top. Repeat for 2 more layers. • For the final layer, top with lasagna sheets, the remaining sauce and top with the remaining Parmesan cheese. • Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes.
