It occupies the Sainte-Marie convent (17th century) in Rouen. Doctor Georges Pennetier was its curator from 1873 to 1923, then Robert Régnier from 1924 to 1965. Due to the richness and diversity of its collections, it preserves more than 500,000 objects and specimens from all over the world. • The Rouen museum has been awarded the Tourism and Handicap, Motor and Mental Disability label since 2009.
