Neturei Karta believes Israel has hijacked the Jewish Religion to justify killing Palestinians to steal their lands. They argue that the Torah, the Bible, and other holy texts instruct them to live in Peace in any land in harmony with all existing populations. They don't recognize the Israel state because their Messiah has not arrived. And when the Messiah does come, they believe everyone will live in bliss and harmony, and all the world's problems will be resolved. They say that Jews have lived with Palestinian people of whatever religion for the last few thousand years and that conflict only began in the last hundred or so since the invention of Zionism. Neturei Karta is an ultra-Orthodox #antizionist Jewish community residing mainly in Israel and the United States. They believe the Talmud forbids killing #Palestinians and stealing their land. Once mostly ignored - now in the aftermath of the Hamas attack and the Israeli invasion of Gaza, their message has gone viral and center stage in the Ceasefire Now movement. Who are the real Jews who are called antisemitic because of their antizionism? • They seek to peacefully dismantle the Israeli apartheid system and dissolve the nation of Israel, so all people can live together in peace and freedom as they once did in Palestine before the establishment of Israel. Lined up with holding high the Palestinian flags, anti-Zionist posters, and anti-Israel chants. Reactions verged on physical - the Rabbis of Neturei Karta needed continual police protection. • Featured is Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, spokesperson for Neturei Karta, who speaks about meeting and advising the leadership of various groups, including those from Hamas, Hezbollah, PLO, and Iran. • The reporter who was filmed interviewing the Rabbi was Mary Margaret Olohan from the Signal, a project of the Heritage Foundation. She ignored what the Rabbi said and instead tried to cherry-pick her story by asking him to admit support for Hamas. But the story was much more complicated than that, and she had no time or interest in the follow-up - there was a Hamas connection. • Reporting is an infinite series of choices: what's the angle, how to tell it, where to point the camera, who to interview, what to ask, and what to edit.
