Well, this is my take on the battle track Heartful Cry composed by Shoji Meguro. And no, I did not use the original song in this cover (I performed and programmed all sounds you hear). You'll notice key differences between my version and the original version, such as a slight change in the riffs and song structure to make it suit my style of playing...oh and sorry for derping the lead guitars. • Here is the list of recording gear I used: • Fender Telecaster Custom HH Spalted Maple Top (with a set-neck) with EMG JH pickups with configuration modded to 2 Volumes, a Graph Tech bridge and nut, Planet Waves locking tuners, D'Addario 11-56 strings tuned to Drop B, and Schaller strap locks • Dunlop 1mm Nylon Black picks (for guitar) • Monster Cables • Presonus AudioBox 44VSL • Presonus Studio One 2.6 (and the built-in effects) • Amplitube 3.8 (5 amps were used: Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier, Egnater Armageddon (custom made), Splawn Nitro (custom made), Soldano SLO100, and Gallien Kueger MB150S.
