How to deal with an aggressive rooster. If you have raised your own chickens than I am sure you have come across at least one aggressive rooster! We have had 6 roosters this year and 2 of them have been aggressive, one more than the other. The rooster in this video is one of our spring chicks that we had raised that has developed an aggressive side. Our main rooster, Jimmy (aka the father), had bouts of aggression and using this tactic to deal with an aggressive rooster has really helped over the years keep our aggressive roosters in line.
