As I alluded to you in part 1, I had a bit of difficulty with the neckline. Some small holes appeared on just the right half.. but I didn't actually notice until later on (that's why I don't have any footage of it). The holes are not that big.. and on reflection, I don't think I made a mistake, it's simply how this method turns out. However, I have included 2 other options for shaping the neckline if you want to avoid this problem. I go through them at the end of the video and I also provide details below. Happy knitting! :)) • Pattern (back piece): • ✿ Cast on 90 stitches • ✿ Work in 2x2 rib for 22 rows • ✿ Change yarn colour and work in stockinette stitch for 42 rows • ✿ Armhole shaping: • knit row: k2, ssk, knit until 4 stitches remain, k2t, k2 • purl row: purl all stitches • ✿ Alternate knit row and purl row for 16 rows total (decrease 16 stitches) • ✿ Knit 38 rows in stockinette stitch, setting up stitch markers on the 38th row • Set stitch markers up on both sides of the centre 6 stitches • ✿ Knit to 1 stitch before stitch marker then KF B (knit through front and back) the stitch • before the marker • ✿ Bind off the 6 stitches between the markers • ✿ Shaping neckline (left) using bias bind off method: • 1. Knit 1 row • 2. Purl until 1 stitch remains then slip last stitch purl-wise • 3. Turn work around slip 2 stitches purl-wise • 4. Pull 1st stitch over 2nd stitch • 5. Bind off 2 stitches • 6. Repeat steps 1-5 four more times (bind off a total of 15 stitches over 10 rows) • 7. Knit 1 row, purl 1 row then bind off • ✿ Shaping neckline (right) using bias bind off: • 1. Purl 1 row • 2. Knit until 1 stitch remains then slip last stitch purl-wise • 3. Turn work around slip 2 stitches purl-wise • 4. Pull 1st stitch over 2nd stitch • 5. Bind off 2 stitches • 6. Repeat steps 1-5 four more times (bind off a total of 15 stitches over 10 rows) • 7.
