Maybe its just a North American thing, I don't know. But audiences would request #berniestune a lot! I think its because jazz lovers really related to saxophonist Gerry Mulligan's sound. Or maybe it was that they remembered Chet Baker playing it. Either way, I think that Bernie's tune is a jazz standard that should be in a jazz musician's book of must know . • I've created a backing track so you can practice with.
