SOUNDBITE (English) Andriy Boychuk, volunteer for Razom: • Today's mission, we received a big donation from a retired fire department chief in Port Jervis, New York. So we received a lot of like fire, used fire equipment, and we are preparing to ship it to Ukraine. But the government has much bigger issues than... much bigger issues, and we just trying to help our country. I was born in Ukraine. Many people here were born in Ukraine. So it's our duty. • 8. SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Valeriya Roshkovan, Ukrainian refugee and volunteer: • The first reason was the fear for the safety of my daughter, because the town was surrounded, all the artillery was pointed at the town and most of the exits were already in the hands of Russia. And we've been more lucky, I would say, to be on a safe place, so we should be giving as much as we can to the people who have been much less lucky to be in the war zone and be bombarded by all of this. • 22.
