Epic Drone Footage 4K • Park Information • Conguillío National Park is located in the Araucanía Region, in the Communes of Curacautín, Lonquimay, (Malleco Province), Vilcún, Cunco and Melipeuco (Cautín Province). • It was created on May 26, 1950 by Supreme Decree No. 1,117 of the Ministry of Lands and Colonization. It has undergone subsequent modifications, due to different decrees. • The unit stands out for the protection of fauna species such as the puma, the guiña, the black woodpecker, the mountain monkey, the brown striped lizard, the Darwin's frog and the freshwater tollo. As far as flora is concerned: araucaria or pehuén, mountain range cypress, lleuque, dwarf radal, Andean cinnamon, among other species. • Its main trails are: • Sierra Nevada; • The Araucarias; • The carpenters; • Truful Truful; • Captrén lagoon circuit; • Rainbow lagoon circuit; • NOTICE: In times of adverse weather conditions, find out about their status before visiting the units, due to possible temporary closures. • REGULATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: • • The use of fire in the park is prohibited. • • Pets are prohibited from entering the unit. • • The use of plastic bags is prohibited. • • Visitors are appreciated taking their trash from the park and participating in the recycling program. • • Camping is prohibited in unauthorized areas. • • Respect the recreational fishing regulations. • Accesses The unit can be accessed from the south by the Temuco-Cunco-Melipeuco route to the Truful truful sector, from the north by Victoria or Lautaro-Curacautín to the Captren sector. On the western side from Temuco-Cajón-Vilcún-Cherquenco to the Los Paraguas Sector. • In the summer season, Conguillío National Park has food sales, kayak and boat rental, trails and circuits, cabin rentals, camping sites and picnic areas, which are open until mid-autumn depending on weather conditions.
