Thanks for your support. • Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mrmake1th... • Get my Recipe E-Book for 50% OFF - https://www.fatfreecartpro.com/i/zghc • Instagram: @_MrMakeItHappen_ • Twitter: @MrMake1tHappen • Blog: mrmakeithappen.blog • Support The Show:   / mrmakeithappen   • Music By: Tony Alpha • SoundCloud:   / tony_alpha11   • Ingredients: Grocery list • 1 box lasagna noodles • 1 yellow onion (diced) • 3 stalks of celery (optional - diced) • 3 cloves minced garlic or 1 tbsp garlic paste • 1 28oz can tomato sauce • 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes • 1/2 cup dry red wine • Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder • Fresh basil, chopped parsley • 1l b ground beef • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce • 1 lb sweet italian sausage • 1/4 cup heavy cream • 1 pinch of sugar • Parsley Basil • 1 egg • 8 oz fresh mozzarella (sliced into chunks) • 2 cups parmesan • 8-10 oz Ricotta cheese • 1/2 cup sour cream • salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, italian seasoning • cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes (to taste) • Directions: • For the Sauce: • Cook ground beef and italian sausage until cooked thru. Remove and strain most of the fat, preserving enough to cook your veggies. Finely chop onion and celery and sauté over medium heat until they become soft. Mince Garlic or use paste - along with fresh herbs and add to onion mixture. Cook until garlic becomes fragrant. Deglaze with red wine and reduce by half. (2-3 minutes) Add in tomato sauce crushed tomatoes and incorporate. (2-3 minutes) - Add back in the ground beef/sausage. Add italian seasoning and fresh basil along with cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes if desired. Mix in 1/4 cup of Heavy Cream and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Cover and let this sauce simmer for 1-4 hours (stirring occasionally). Wait until the end to season with salt. Adjust the flavors as needed. You can use a pinch of sugar to balance the acidity as needed. • Cook noodles to package instructions. (Heavily salt pasta water) Strain and set aside. • In a separate bowl, mix together Ricotta Cheese, sour cream, and 1/2 of your shredded cheese. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic, and onion powder. (Taste as you go! Make sure the ricotta mixture tastes good before you mix in your egg) Mix in your egg and chopped parsley with the ricotta mixture and set aside. • Add a little sauce to the bottom of your baking dish and begin to add a layer of pasta. Then add a layer of your cheese mixture and then sauce again and repeat until the dish is full. Top the dish with the remainder of shredded cheese, cover and bake at 375 for about 30 minutes and then remove the cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until browned and bubbling. Garnish with some chopped basil.
