For a decade Road Rash games came and went, giving us a number of memorable experiences. We take a look at them here. • I'm now on Patreon! Genesis and Sega CD versions captured on the Mega SG and Mega SD. 3DO, N64, Saturn, and Playstation version captured on original hardware via the Framemeister. • 2. I wanted to show you a few seconds of the multiplayer in a few of these, but with the social distancing, I was all alone for this one. • 3. The Game Boy you see in the video is an original model with a backlight mod. • 4. I came down brutally on the Sega CD version in this video. That was based on expectation more than anything else. That game could have been so much more. Past that, there is still a fun game there. • 5. Road Rash on the 3DO is commonly referred to as Road Rash 32-bit. I tend to call it that whenever it comes up. • 6. I hated the Playstation and N64 exclusive Road Rash games, Road Rash 3D, Road Rash 64, and Road Rash Jailbreak when they were first released. I had felt that Road Rash 32-bit had been so superior and it took me years to find any appreciation in them. • 7. The GBA Jailbreak was so much better than I was expecting. While the sound effects are sometimes annoying, I really dug the way it looked and played. A lot of ports really suffered on the GBA, but this one was actually redone to take advantage of the hardware.
