Bud has a long history of Marketing the Rainbow, which goes back at least two decades, when they started a collaboration with GLAAD. Yet, their communications have not always been subtle, or supportive. • In this classic commercial from 1993, four men in drag play out their game of make believe - in Ladies' Night . • AdRespect: The ad isn't meant to parody transgendered persons or gays, it plays on the Ms. Doubtfire/Tootsie joke of obvious men dressing as women out of need - it's older than television. The campaign has been so successful it has run for many years and has carried variations that included Don Rickles mistakenly picking up one of the women.
