The C5 Corvette was introduced in 1997, but the first year the Heads Up Display was an option was 1999. The C5 Corvette's Heads Up Display was not the first time it was in an automobile or even in a GM vehicle, but it was the first time for Corvette. It's not as nice as present day Heads Up Displays, but for the time it was pretty cool. The C5 Corvette Heads Up Display lets the drive view your speed, RPMs and important vehicle conditions.
