Quick demo of my new amp, a 1972 or 1973 Traynor YBA-1 Bassmaster. • • I installed a new power cord and new filter caps. I'm not sure if the tubes are original or not, but they're very old! • • The only mod that affects the tone is a PPIV Master Volume circuit. I used a dual ganged 500kOhm audio pot, 24.9kOhm resistors, and 0.1uF 400V ceramic caps. Here is a link to a document that describes various tweaks you can do to these old amps. They're relevant to most vintage tube amps (at least Fenders and Marshalls): http://www.kilback.net/traynortweaks2... • • Again, the only mod I did was the PPIV Master Volume, but I used different circuit values for more crunch! • • The guitar is an all-stock 2009 Gibson Les Paul Traditional in beautiful honeyburst--ROCK!!!
