22 LR VS 32 SampW Long Pocket Guns NonExpanding Bullets

I hear it said a lot in my field, something like this with .22, .380 and .38 Special, well you're just better off with a wadcutter or FMJ bullet seeing as these rounds don't expand from short barrels so you might as well go for penetration with a non expanding bullet . • And while I do not fully agree with statements like this, I do think there is some small amount of truth to statements like this, particularly if you want to use a heavy for caliber bullet at low velocity, in that circumstance you are better off with a non expanding bullet. • So today I am testing CCI Blazer .22 LR 40 gr LRN VS the Buffalo Bore .32 S W Long 100 gr HC wadcutter. Testing in 10% Clear Ballistics with MDF in the mix to simulate ribs or sternum, as well as shooting from 75 yards on my steel silhouette for some ridiculous challenging fun.
