The latest Fairline to wear the famous Targa badge, this 15m 50 GT sports yacht delivers the perfect platform for coastal weekend cruising or longer stays. The smooth-riding hull and Volvo Penta IPS engine options always delivering the easiest 30-knot performance you’ll find. • As with the entire Targa fleet, soon to be joined by a very important 12m entry-level model, the exterior design work comes from Alberto Mancini, creating another smart, sporty and rightly muscular look, the beefy hull allied to a sleek hardtop design with vast sections of glass only slightly interrupted by trademark GRP spears. • Another Fairline trait comes inside, the three or four cabin layout is a direct lift from the Squadron 50 flybridge model. Using the same hull and interior platforms across model ranges is nothing new but Fairline seems to do it so well, allowing them to deliver proven and well-finished boats to a slick delivery schedule. • On the main deck you get the same Squadron 50 option of the galley up or extra lounge space, the salon lit up by those massive glass sides, a sunroof and cockpit doors - the Targa 50 Open model changes things with a flowing cockpit feel. • Below decks, the standard two-cabin boat and its private lower lounge can be swapped for a small bunked third cabin. The full-beam owner’s stateroom and forward guest cabin are constants and if you do opt for the two cabin layout it is worth remembering there is a crew cabin aft, a useful occasional guest berth. • What you don't have is a foredeck lounge or tender garage, so the tender stows on the hydraulic swim platform. • Fairline offers a range of Volvo Penta IPS pod drives starting with the D6 powered 435hp IPS600 and moving to the D11 IPS650 (510hp) and IPS700 (550hp).
