Her passion for medicine grew out of the ability to build relationships and connect with people while helping to make a difference in their lives. Her approach truly aligns with what drove her to be an osteopath, as well as a physiatrist, which is to use a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to improve a patient's quality of life using the least invasive treatment as possible. • At Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Together, we'll discuss an individual treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your pain and helps you to feel better. The best part: you can begin treatment the same day! • At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. • LEARN MORE: https://www.pelvicrehabilitation.com/ • JOIN OUR COMMUNITY and get in on the discussions happening: • ✨ Facebook -   / pelvicrehabilitation   • ✨ Instagram -   / pelvicrehabilitation   • ✨ Twitter -   / pelvicrehab   • #PelvicRehabilitationMedicine #endometriosis #endometriosiswarrior #pelvicpain • • **** • Hello everyone, it's Dr. Kim Leishear. I just wanted to talk a little bit about endometriosis. So, endometriosis really is a chronic, systemic, inflammatory disorder. So there is underlying inflammation that can cause muscle nerve pain and also cause muscle nerve pain in the hip. So anything you can do to really decrease that inflammation in the body can be beneficial, so really following a plant-based diet, similar to a Mediterranean diet, limited animal products like meat and dairy, limiting sugar and processed foods also can help. Take care!
