Jacob McSwain will be talking to us about decompiling an existing Python executable. The tools most often used to do this including Uncompyle6, python-exe-extractor, xdis, and xasm. He'll show you how to reverse engineer and examine compiled Python while trying to rebuild an existing business application without having access to the source code. • Speaker: • Jacob is a Devops Engineer at Clevyr in Oklahoma City specializing in cloud technologies, primarily AWS. He's a self-professed jack-of-all-trades with programming languages. Jacob has loved taking things apart and putting them together again since he was a child. Now he gets to experiment with reverse engineering and decompiling without breaking his toys beyond repair.
