An Akrapovic slip-on retails around $500, and other complete systems up to $700!!!! I just can't justify spending that much on a $2500 (new cost) bike! So I'll pass and find a ebay pit-bike exhaust can that will fit. Even if the Chinese-made part explodes, at $50 each 10 of them will have to explode before I'd match the cost of a name-branded exhaust muffler. • The old muffler weighs just a hair under 20lbs, which is about 7% of the weight of this bike at 278lbs. There will be a significant weight-savings when switching to an aluminum or carbon fiber glasspack exhaust. The exhaust output flange on the header is 32mm so keep that in mind if you're looking to do this to a similar bike yourself. The exhaust should also be the same on most of Piaggio's line-up that has a LEADER engine. That includes Vespa, Aprilia, and Piaggio proper bikes ranging from 125 to 200cc.
