The first one is called the Half Moon and is simply the round dumpling wrapper folded in half and sealed and you can use those for practically any single purpose: poaching, pan frying, deep frying, steaming. From the half moon, what you can do is form a little Pea Pod just by simply putting together a few little pleats on the edge. Pea pods are terrific for steaming as well as pan frying because they sit up really nicely in a skillet. And then the other one that you can make, also from a half moon, is a really cute little shape called A Big Hug. What you do is you simply take the two ends and then you bring them together like you're giving yourself a big hug. They're terrific for poaching or steaming because they sit up really nicely.
