Today's Coral Spotlight we take a closer look at the coral Lobophyllia flabelliformis. These corals generally come in grey or brown, but some rarer versions can be found in a variety of different colors. • This coral currently is on the sand bed, just below the automatic fish feeder, and it actively catches, and eats the fish pellets that fall on it. It is sitting in a very low light area, and receives no direct lighting. The water flow at this spot is moderate to slow. • I purchased this particular specimen in a coral auction. No one else bid on it and others called it ugly. At the time it was grayish purple with a little bit of yellow in the papilla, but has since become a very bright center piece in the front of my tank. The feather duster also came with it and has grown quite a bit since I got it about a year ago. • If you would like to know more about this tank you can check out my build thread on the Marine Aquarium Society of Colorado forums here • https://www.marinecolorado.org/thread... • #allmymoneygoestocorals #asmr #reefobsessed #reeftank #reefcommunity #saltwateraquarium #saltlife #saltwater #coralreeftank #coralreef #coralreefaquarium #aquarium #reeftherapy
