Official Website: https://busatti.com/ • Since the early years of the 1800’s, the Busatti family have been weaving in the cellars of the Palazzo Morgalanti in the village of Anghiari, in Toscana. • The first machines go back to the early years of the 1800’s, when, following the french Napoleonic troups’ invasion, they established in Anghairi a production of uniforms for their army The machinery which originally were steam operated were replaced by electrified machines in the 1930’s by Livio Busatti. This allowed the company to compete in a more modern world. • From father to son the Busatti family is today in the eighth generation. Busatti’s products are synonymous with quality and tradition, but also of innovation, thanks to constant reseach of new designs, color and shapes which are developed in the new factories. These machines have teamed during the years with the historical machineries, which are still in use and which can be visited. • We’re able to meet any decoration, any home decors and home textile request. Beside large supplies we specialize in custom made production. We can produce tablelcoths, curtains, bath towels, wall coverings, etc. in any finishing and dimension. Busatti can create exclusive embroideries or even fabrics with custom made designs requested by the customer. • Each weave is the result of the passion and authenticity of our work of which we’re always proud to show you in our venerable workshops in Anghiari. • Our history, extending for over 150 years has always been managed by the same family. A very long continuity indeed. Starting with the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Busatti has served Italy and produced fine linens during the unification of Italy in 1861 and through two World Wars. • Within a few kilometers/miles, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Piero della Francesca were born.
