A lot of us are stuck in quarantine at our homes, and are finding it difficult to workout. Specifically when it comes to back (although a good set of bands is a good start). This video will show you how to build a pull-up bar in your garage that can withstand tons of weight. Also we preview how this setup is perfect for ab straps. • Ab Strap link as promised: https://amzn.to/2yexW6U • Parts List: • T 3/4in pipe fittings (4 count) • 45 degree 3/4in pipe fittings (2 count) • 2 inch length 3/4in threaded pipe (2 count) • 6 inch length 3/4in threaded pipe (6 count) • 12 inch length 3/4in threaded pipe (2 count) ** see special note at bottom on this • 18 inch length 3/4in threaded pipe (1 count) • Flange 3/4in (2 count) • 1/4in 2in length closet bolts w/nuts washers (8 count) - these go through flange and 2 by 4 • 3/8in 4in length lag screw (6 count) - these go through 2 by 4 into rafters/trusses • Wooden 2 by 4 (1 count) • note on the 12 inch pipe - this pipe determines how log the pull up bar hangs from the ceiling... • 12 inch pipe + other fittings (6 inches) = 18 inches from the ceiling for this setup (of course a bit more with the 2by4 • So if you want it further down than 18 inches, you'll want to replace the 12 inch pipe with something longer. In this video I used 24 inches instead of 12 due to high ceilings. I would have preferred about 30, but they didn't have it. • • Music provided by Monstercat: • CloudNone - Lido •    / monstercat   •    / monstercatinstinct
