Seattle Carkeek Park and Waterfront Trains 4K

http://www.yardlimit.com • After having the car serviced, we stopped at Carkeek Park so my wife could walk the dog that we dog sit, and I could catch a few trains. • Shortly after arriving, BNSF 4258 crawled around the curve and stopped at MP 10.6. A green signal encouraged me to wait for something coming up from the south, but it changed to red and I heard the defect detector up by Edmonds let me know that a SB train was on the way. Shortly afterwards, Amtrak 513, the SB Cascades passed by. • BNSF 4258 soon came along pulling a local manifest train. All that lumber really smelled nice! • By that time I was cold and the dog wanted to go home so we never got to see 4258 proceed south. • Earlier that week, a trek to the waterfront during evening rush hour let us capture a pristine Sounder, 906, and a typically filthy Amtrak 8, depart through the Seattle North Portal. • Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
