Letterpress printing some thank you prints with a tabletop printing press

In our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum, we like to test a variety of ink colors to see how prints turn out. • In this video, Jared letterpress prints a thank you card. The font for “THANK YOU!” is Balloon 60 point and the image of the shouting individual is from an electrotype made in the 1930s. This was printed with a mix of opaque white and rhodamine red rubber base ink using a 4x6 Golding Official No. 2 tabletop printing press. • This video goes out to all of our subscribers and those who watch our videos daily!
