How to transfer Grindal worms from a soil to a sponge culture. Set a sponge down on the soil. Get the soil wet. The worms move away from the water. If you swish the watery soil around a bit it helps free up the worms so they come in contact with the sponge. They cling to the sponge like a drowning person clings to a life preserver ring.
