Finding smaller snakes can be very difficult, especially in the winter, but we were lucky enough to find a tiny red bellied snake! • Join Cajun Boy (Zachary Gray) as we get very up close (because that's the only way to film something so small) with the elusive red bellied snake! As always we hope y'all enjoy this video! :D • Red Bellied snakes (not to be confused with Australia's venomous red bellied black snake) are a small species of ground snake that can be found throughout the eastern United States. While rarely seen, these snakes are thought to be plentiful, but difficult to find. Even people who go snake hunting (or herping ) rarely find these tiny snakes. Their most notable feature is their orange/red belly, with faded or copper stripes. I've opted to call these specific red belly snake Dusky ground snakes to avoid confusion with red bellied water snakes, and red belly black snakes. • Welcome to the Life's Wild Adventure channel!
