#repost • @bramty • Years ago it crossed my mind to remove my breast implants from my body. As months and time passed by, that decision left my mind but then I found myself on a new path. A path towards a relationship with God, our Lord and Savior. After making that decision and growing my relationship with God, I felt like He was putting signs AND people in my life to lead me to the choice of removing my implants from my body…my temple. • “How could I be living such a healthy, holistic, natural life with two foreign objects in my chest?” I always thought to myself. My body was fighting it everyday. Giving me signs to take them out by talking to me with symptoms. I finally listened with the guidance of God and made the decision to explant. • The scar tissue that formed around my implants left me in shock. My body was fighting the implants for years and I had no idea how much it was taking away from me. • 4/24/24 ✨ the day @davidrankinmd removed my implants. @davidrankinmd and his entire staff are angels sent from heaven. Especially, @dee.hicks_explant_liaison. Thank you for being there for me and never leaving my side! She held my hand and showed me so much love and comfort while I laid on the operating table and drifted off to sleep. I’ve had two other breast augmentations before and this experience was genuinely BEAUTIFUL. I felt the presence of God in the room as I closed my eyes and prayed to Him before slowly falling asleep. • Thank you, again @davidrankinmd for taking amazing care of me in the operating room.
