DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE UPDATE HERE: https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/digital-in... • Hi everyone, this is John from Zoom and I am here to show you how to update the firmware on your AR-48. • First, insert an SD card into your computer’s SD card reader, then go to the Zoom website at zoomcorp.com. Navigate to the Support and Downloads section in the top right of the page, then scroll down to AR-48 and select it. You will see the newest firmware download available in the SOFTWARE section of the page. Click the link to download the zip file. • Once complete, you can then extract the zip file’s contents and open the subfolder to see the file labeled AR48SYSTEM.BIN. Copy this file onto the root folder of your SD card. Next, safely eject the SD card from your computer and place it into the SD card slot on the AR-48. • With the AR-48 off, press and hold the PLAY button while pressing the power button. This will open the update confirmation screen. Select yes to start the update. After the update completes, hold the power button to turn off the base station. Do not remove the SD card or power off the AR-48 until after the update is complete. • After the base station update is finished, you will need to update your ARQ ring controller. To do this, turn the base station on, and the ring controller off. • You must have the ring controller connected to the base station with the USB cable to perform the update. • Power on the AR-48 and it should show the update confirmation screen. Press the control knob to execute. Once the update is complete, press the control knob again to finish. • If the update confirmation screen does not appear, you can update the ring controller manually. While holding FUNCTION, press pad 22. • Use the SOUND area knob to highlight FIRMWARE UPDATE then select it. This will show the update confirmation screen. Select Yes and the update will begin.
