What´s new on Magblade this Patch? • Merciless Resolve/Relentless Focus got a significant change: This ability and its morphs no longer need to be activated to generate stacks, as they will now generate stacks any time you meet their original requirements simply with the ability slotted on either bar. huge buff, it´s a toggle now similar to bound armaments, safes some global cooldowns. • On top Relentless Focus (stamina morph) got changed too: This morph now increases the amount of Weapon and Spell Damage each stack grants to 80 at rank IV, rather than increasing the duration of the buff, since the buff no longer has a duration. this makes it slightly better than merciless, the extra wp/sp dmg helps to empower our skills, especially effective in execute, since we keep up 5x stacks during this phase. It also helps for magicka sustain, if you´re worried about your stamina though, swap to merciless, the difference is minimalistic! Small nerf for Concealed Weapon with this change: This morph now grants Major Berserk for 7-10 seconds based on rank, rather than a unique 7-10% damage done when meeting its conditions. sadly no unique buff anymore. • They also changed the maelstrom 2h weapon: Merciless Charge: This set now increases your damage done with direct damage attacks by 9.3% of your Weapon or Spell Damage, up to a maximum of 560. a flat dmg bonus for direct dmg attacks, big buff especially for nbs with direct dmg skills like bow proc, conc. weapon and impale one of the strongest executes. In terms of sets, only one small change. Instead of relequen i´ve been using whorl of dephts, simply because of my fast weave time of around 0.01-0.003, wich NERFS relequen extremely. As faster your weave time is as less dmg it does, it procs less often no clue why, so in this case whorl dealed around 1k more dmg than rele. If your weave time is above 0.02 go with rele, everything below this value use whorl of depths. Combined with pillar of nirn + zaan and 2h msa weapon, no mythic needed, thanks to the dummy buffs, our crit dmg is already over 125% wich is the cap. Harpooners wading kilt is probably needed in actual content, especially without support sets like catalyst! • Rotation (at 100%): • Prebuff with Dark Shade + Deadly Cloak + 5x Relentless Focus Stacks if possible, stay a bit Range to not immediatly hit the Target. Start with Shooting Star + Potion for extra 20 Ulti (swap back to Incap afterwards, with an addon like dressing room, keep incap as console player!) step closer to your Target, and start with: • Barbed Trap - Stampede - Twisting Path - Carve - Barswap - • Relentless Focus Proc - Concealed Weapon - Debilitate followed by Concealed Weapon spam. Try to keep up all of your Dots before using Incap, like this you make sure to not waste the empowered 8 seconds time window (incap gives +20% extra dmg for 8 seconds), use the empowered phase to spamm as many concealed weapon casts + bow procs as possible! If you´re unsure just use Incap on Cooldown, dps loss will be minimalistic! • Rotation (at 25%): • Replace Concealed Weapon for Impale. Reapply all of your Dots at around 20-25%, but do not recast Dark Shade + Debilitate + Carve + Deadly Cloak below 20% (my execute was kinda messy, had bad timing so recasted shade at 19%).
