Measure fabric to the size of your child • 2. Fold your fabric in half and then half again • 3. Measure desired neck width • 4. Then cut through all layers • 5. Use the same width to create two hood shapes • 6. Pin the two pieces of fabric together • 7. Tie a knot at one end to begin sewing • 8. Hide the knot in between the two pieces • Now let's begin the blanket stitch! • 9. Continue until you stitch along the entire curve • 10. Pin the hood to the poncho • 11. Stitch the hood to the poncho • 12.
