I've been wanting to do this for a very long time now but I didn't have a recording device. Luckily, I got an Elgato Game Capture HD around June and worked on this movie for the whole summer. The truth is, this was finished around August but I felt like it could use some more polish. I originally wasn't going to upload this in 1080p HD but I felt that this movie could use the extra boost since it is not as impressive as the sequels. • Editing wise, this was extremely complicated and undoubtedly the hardest movie edit I've done. I used a lot of new editing techniques, used various angles for action scenes, and worked with the audio and the video quite a lot. Keep in mind this is not the full representation of the game. I had to cut some scenes to keep it at a movie length and keep the action moving. Some scenes I cut were a bunch of simple gunfights, platforming, and puzzles. Don't worry though, you're still getting the full story. I just felt that these were unneeded and were only there to make the game longer. To also save time, I tried to make each gunfight in about 30 seconds. • Another thing I took out were the chapter logos that appear in the game. These are subtle changes but I feel like they help keep this movie cinematic. I also removed a few button prompts by zooming in. I did this because I feel they can sometimes be too distracting to the viewer. But I'm not too comfortable zooming in because the quality drops which makes it look a bit bad. I didn't remove all of the button prompts though. There are a lot more things I did but I can't tell you them just yet. • Enjoy this movie and be on the lookout for the sequels!
