Today marks the first recipe in my series dedicated to the York Fair! I’m starting with a tribute to Kohr’s Orangeade—my absolute must-have, favorite beverage from the fair. Sadly, the stand has not been open the past two years, but Kohr’s provided decades of refreshing, orangey goodness to so many fairgoers. Cheers! • ORANGEADE • recipe adapted from kellybewell.com • 6 medium navel oranges, juiced • 1 cup sugar • 4 cups water • ice • Pour the juice from 6 oranges into a pitcher. Bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir 1-2 minutes until sugar dissolves (liquid will be clear). Remove from heat and cool at least 15 minutes. Pour the simple syrup and additional 3 cups of water into the pitcher with the juice. Stir to combine. Serve over ice or add to blender with ice and blend until frothy. ENJOY! • If you love the York Fair, give this video a Thumbs Up, and don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE to my channel! • For even more recipes and delectable food, follow me on Instagram: • / annesfamilyrecipe • Or find me on Facebook: • / annesfamilyrecipe • For business inquiries or to collaborate, email: • [email protected] • Music by my talented husband! • #orangeade #yorkfair
