The G87 is no stranger to performance. Right out of the box the new M2 features rocket-like acceleration, and great handling and is even offered with a manual gearbox. With the Turner Performance exhaust, you get a more engaged feeling improving the driving experience. Increased sound you can both hear and feel offers a direct line of feedback between you and the car. The added volume allows you to feel where you are in the power band without looking at your rpm gauge allowing you to feather the exhaust around turns and when shifting in your manual transmission. Along with the increased volume and feeling our exhaust features smooth transitions and improved flow for improved throttle response and sound on deceleration. • Turner's mission was to amplify the G87 with a proper catback exhaust system. To accomplish this goal, engineers increased flow, reduced weight by 18 lbs, and delivered an exhaust system that captures the full unrestricted sound of the twin-turbo inline-6 S58 engine. The increase in flow was gained from dual 3.0 304 stainless steel exhaust pipes that feed into a free-flowing valved muffler. Turner designed this catback with flow in mind to ensure the exhaust would never be restricted. Weight reduction is achieved by replacing the factory piping with lightweight 304ss for a modest weight advantage free from the added weight of the bulky factory muffler. Paired with the Turner Catback exhaust is a valved muffler that allows for both a smooth tone and rowdy exhaust note that can be controlled with factory options.
