Gusty First Sail of 2024 for Zephyr IV

At last Zephyr IV, my Westerly Ocean Quest, goes into the water and we get to take our first sails of the Season. I'm keen to see how much of a difference the new Feather Stream propeller will make. • Ideally I would have liked a gentle breeze, around 10 - 15 knots - but we didn't get that. We got 20 to 30 plus knots!. Zephyr IV goes well with that, and we had two lively days out. Seldom dropping below 6 knots. Watch as we leave the Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport and sail out of Portsmouth Harbour into a breezy Solent. • The feathering propeller did seem to improve our sailing performance, it certainly didn't slow us down. • https://www.darglow.co.uk/featherstream/
