▼ IMPORTANT ▼ In this video we will see a solved exercise by which I will explain the method of differential operators to solve systems of linear ordinary differential equations, of constant, homogeneous coefficients, in which we can have different orders (second order, third order, etc.) . First we will write the system in the form of the matrix of operators and then we will calculate the determinant of said matrix in order to obtain the delta operator of the system, which is the cancellation of the functions x and y. Then we will solve the homogeneous differential equations of constant coefficients, by solving the characteristic equation, and substitute in any of the equations to obtain the solution using only the corresponding arbitrary constants (in this case we obtain two linearly independent solutions and therefore two constants arbitrary).
