Criswell dubbed himself the '' 20th century Nostradamus,'' based on '' trend, precedent, pattern of habit, human behavior, and the unalterable law of cycle!'' claimed 87 percent accuracy in his predictions. Today Criswell is known mainly for his opening monolog, narration, and closing comments in Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space, but he also hosted his Criswell Predicts show on a local Los Angeles program, made numerous appearances on network talkshows, authored three books of predictions, released a record album of predictions, and appeared in two other Ed Wood films.
