Samp Ingredients: • 2 cups samp • 1/4 cup powdered milk • 2 tbsp cream of mushroom soup • Tbsp rama • Tsp dry thyme • Tsp aromat • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese or 1 cup • 2 tbsp cream cheese • 1 cup fresh cream, add milk if needed • Rinse samp, • Place it in a bowl soak in hot water overnight, any of the kernels that float to the surface should be discarded. • Drain samp water and cook for 1 hour in salted water or until soft • After 1 hour the samp should have absorbed most of the water and be beautifully puffed up, but if there’s any excess water left in the samp, drain it and put it back on the stove on medium-low heat, add in powdered milk, cream of mushroom soup, rama, thyme or parsley, aromat, cheddar cheese, plain cream cheese then stir until the seasoning is incorporated and add in one cup fresh cream or milk. • Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until the cheese has melted completely • Baby Spinach Ingredients: • 200g baby spinach • 1/2 grated onion • Tbsp or tsp minced garlic and ginger • Aromat to taste • Tsp flour and cream mushroom soup • 3 tbsp fresh cream • Handful cheddar cheese • Add in 2 tbsp butter, over medium heat. • Sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes or so. • After 2 minutes add the spinach, spread out spinach and add aromat (optional) • Close the pot, then reduce heat to low 2/6 • Do not add water • Cooking it over low heat will make the spinach steam in its own liquid. • 3-5 minutes later the spinach is steamed perfectly and is ready for sauce… • Mix flour, soup and cream, pour over the mixture into the spinach, add cheese and aromat. Simmer for about a minute or so. • Spinach is ready, please remove from heat. • #creamysamp #samp #creamy
