One night, long after my old life had passed away, I began to ponder. Those of my team who had survived—They had lived their lives long ago. Now I left Gavormn only to examine the march of society and to watch from afar the descendants of my friends. Glancing down at my discolored hands, I remarked again that I could no longer return to the world of men. Even if they should accept my strange form, I knew that the lullaby would once again grace my ears, pulling me back to Gavormn. • Even now I approached my prison on the stone flatland. Out of the fog was revealed that magnificent fortress, larger and more complex than any man-made structure. The exterior seemed to be entirely composed of the same amethystine mineral that my body had adopted. The interior was even more astounding, but I struggled to find the words to describe its impossible geometries. • Once upon a time, this place had been a mere tent. But it had grown alongside me. As I became ever more like the Song, the palace expanded, becoming a reflection of my mind. It felt almost alive. However, the Song had kept me from death for so long that despite the palace's grandeur and its love for me, I regarded it as my prison. For what else could it be? It was a pleasant prison, I admitted, but the palace would never truly release me. By nature, Gavormn preserves, and so I will remain in this lavish, quiet cage. • — — — — — • 0:00 Fog • 0:48 Signs of the Resident • 1:35 Something in the Distance • 2:23 The Pulse • 3:00 The Fog Parts • 4:11 Waiting • 5:05 Beckoning • This is a cinematic soundtrack-style theme for my space fantasy fiction. This latest addition to the album about the dimensional space called Gavormn offers a far-away gaze at the Mind Palace, one of the most enigmatic formations on the Pearl, a planet in Gavormn. This castle is forged from the unwilling mind of a forgotten man. The lone occupant has long been acquainted with the strange, unending halls, the impossible geometries, and the fickle gravity, all which he cannot help but conjure. The palace will build itself in his image until he dies. So much power in such a hopeless soul. What else has been lost here? • Let me know if you'd like to hear more music or stories! I'd love to show you more of this fantastic and eerily beautiful world. • — — — — — • My soundtrack music:    • Soundtrack Music   • This music is a completely original work by me.
