The Hitec X1 Touch battery charger is a four-button charger without any buttons. • I take a look at this charger and find the following: • Pro's: • easy to use • works as advertised • built-in mains power adapter • very quiet • pretty LCD display • user-configurable battery presets • supports all common battery chemistries • Con's: • display hard to read in sunlight • automatically sets charge current to 1C rate • only comes with Deans-type charge connector • In short.. it's a great little charger for smaller packs (55W means those 6S 5000 packs will take a long time to charge on this baby) so if you can afford it and want something different from an brand name manufacturer then it's worth a look. • If you're after maximum bang for your dollar, the usual array of 4-button chargers will probably be more up your alley. • And a plug for Airborne Magazine: • http://www.airbornemagazine.com.au/
