Sriperumbudur, part of the Kanchipuram district, is situated 40 km to the southwest of Chennai. The locality is well-connected by a long network of roads that merge and again split up in the northern part of the locality. Sriperumbudur Lake forms the north-western border of the locality. Vengadu, Velathancheri, Vallam, Molachur, Kiloy, Nemili, Pillapakkam and Anakaputhur are some of the localities surrounding Sriperumbudur. • • Sriperumbudur is an industrial town that has attracted large-scale investments due to its strategic location along the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway and the availability of a large talent pool.
