Random Rewind 2020 A Year in Infamy

Another year has come and gone, once again. • But 2020 has become a year that is like no other. So much crazy stuff has happened throughout the entirety of 2020, which include (but isn’t limited to): • The possibilities of World War III • Wildfires in Australia and California • Drama happening on social media constantly (most of the dramas I briefly brought up in this video have already been resolved, so don't worry about it) • Cancel Culture becoming more and more of a problem • Twitter getting more toxic • People that we've liked being exposed or revealed as horrible scumbags (pedophiles, rapists, groomers, etc) • A terrifying explosion in Beruit • Racism and police brutality • And, most of all, the infamous and persistent coronavirus pandemic, which has literally changed the entire world and has affected our everyday lives, including my own. Forcing everyone to stay at home and depend more on technology to communicate with others, closing down restaurants, theme parks, and movie theaters, and canceling important or major events. • There's no doubt that 2020 hasn't been very kind to us, nor has it been exactly the best year ever. But saying that the entire year has been horrible would be a dirty lie because a lot of good has come out of this year, especially for me and my channel. And that is what this Random Rewind is supposed to be about. • However, this year has changed so much that YouTube decided not to do a YouTube Rewind this year. I would do the same, considering that my Rewinds are supposed to parody YouTube's, but I don't want to because I still want to take the time to recap all the good stuff that has happened, even on my channel, throughout 2020, such as: • The Derrick McCormick/Baby Lamb Friends Crossover • 70,000 Subs • 80,000 Subs • 90,000 Subs • The Return of Animaniacs • Sonic Movie • My Retirement from Weeknight Update • The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse • The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water • Clone High becoming more relevant • Mr. Nut • Big Time Rush Reuniting • Naked Brothers Band Reuniting • Victorious Reuniting • ZOOM Reuniting • The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reuniting (even with Janet Hubert) • Disney changing FOX's name to 20th Century Studios • Me getting into Elton John's music • and many more • But most of all, 2020 was the year that I graduated from high school! Although I was unfortunate enough to graduate during a pandemic, I still celebrated with all my friends and we all had fun. Sadly, the pandemic deprived me of the chances of going to prom (while wearing a sparkly Elton John-esque suit) and going to a fun place with all the other seniors. But I'm just happy that I'm not alone. And I'm starting to enjoy college. • Of course, 2020 also was the year some bad shit has happened on my channel. For one, I got 2 copyright strikes from Fred Rogers Productions on 9 Mister Rogers videos, almost killing my channel. Then I was falsely canceled on YouTube because an asshole I know named SuperLenny1975 (thegeodesidome), who has hated me for a while, faked suicide just to frame me and ruin my reputation online. He made me lose a lot of friends and followers briefly and I got so much backlash to the point where I had to delete my Twitter account and leave the Internet for about 3 weeks. Most depressing experience of my life. Thankfully, people now know the truth, my name is cleared, and I got back all my friends and supporters. • And I was able to celebrate my return by making an animated special video to the song I'm Still Standing , performed by Taron Egerton (originally by Elton John), which to me is the highlight of my channel this year, next to the crossover with Derrick McCormick. • The year has been rough on us, but we can still have hope for the future.
