We took a quick stop on Route 66 (Amboy, California), Roy's Motel and Cafe. It was a fun stop along Historic Route 66 (mother road). This was our first Route 66 California stop. This tiny town in located in the Mohave desert on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. It is a bit of a ghost town. Our Route 66 road trip has taken us to many ghost towns and abandoned motels.
